• Croatian cultivar most widespread in Dalmatia region. Resistant to pests, drought and temperatures below freezing (although it cannot survive winters in mainland.)


• Large fruited variety, although not as large as those of Ascolana Tenera.


• Very resistant to drought.


• Periodically bears heavy crops every 2 or 3 years, and bears satisfactory in between (that also depends on how it's being taken care of).


• Old Croatian variety from Dalmatia.
